These sensations suggest that your brain and gut are connected. There is a two-way communication that happens all the timebetween your gut and brain. This communicaton system is called Gut-Brain Axis.

Poor digestive health and gut inflammation can impact your brain health and function. While stress, negative emotions and trauma can alter your digestion and your gut flora.
All this can result in poor communication between your gut and brain.

There are some foods that can help improve your Gut-Brain Axis such as foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, fermented foods, fiber rich foods and foods rich in polyphenols.
